Voluntary financial support for EEESEF's scientific, educational and environmental objectives.
Supporting Independent Environmental Science, Research and Education
The Euro-Eurasia Environmental Science & Education Foundation (EEESEF) welcomes voluntary financial donations and contributions from individuals, companies, academic institutions and other organisations wishing to support its scientific, educational and environmental objectives.
EEESEF is an independent, non-profit organisation registered in England and Wales as a company limited by guarantee. The Foundation promotes environmental science, ESG-related research, education, scientific publications and international cooperation.
Financial donations contribute to the Foundation's institutional activities and help advance its mission of encouraging responsible environmental development and the exchange of scientific knowledge.
Voluntary Contributions — No Fixed Minimum or Maximum
Accepted Currencies: EUR · USD · GBP
EEESEF welcomes financial contributions of any proposed amount, subject to its donation acceptance procedures and applicable compliance requirements. Donations are entirely voluntary and do not constitute payments for goods, services, consultancy, ESG assessments, certification, membership or other commercial benefits.
All donations are subject to prior review and approval. Official payment instructions are provided individually after the applicable acceptance requirements have been completed.
Financial donations help EEESEF pursue its institutional objectives in environmental science, education, scientific research and international cooperation.
Contributions may support activities including:
Independent environmental and ESG-related scientific research.
Preparation and publication of technical reports, research notes and educational materials.
Environmental education, scientific awareness and knowledge exchange.
Scientific cooperation with universities, research institutions and other relevant organisations.
Development of research initiatives relating to environmental monitoring, sustainability, water resources, waste management and responsible resource use.
Institutional activities and reasonable administrative costs necessary to carry out the Foundation's objectives.
All funds are administered in accordance with EEESEF's Articles of Association, applicable law and its internal governance and financial control procedures.
EEESEF operates on a non-profit-distributing basis. Financial contributions are used for its permitted institutional purposes and are not distributed to members or directors as profits.
EEESEF may consider voluntary financial donations from eligible individuals and legally established organisations, including companies, universities, research institutions, professional associations and other institutional contributors.
Acceptance is subject to the Foundation's assessment of the proposed donation, the donor's identity, relevant legal requirements and any associated financial or reputational risks.
EEESEF reserves the right to decline contributions that are inconsistent with its objectives, governance principles, financial integrity standards or applicable legal obligations.
EEESEF does not prescribe a fixed minimum or maximum financial donation amount.
Prospective donors may propose an amount appropriate to their circumstances and intended support.
Financial donations may be made in:
Euros (EUR)
United States Dollars (USD)
British Pounds Sterling (GBP)
All donations are made by bank transfer to an EEESEF-designated account using the official instructions issued following approval.
The donor is responsible for applicable transfer charges and intermediary bank fees, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
No donation amount is automatically accepted. EEESEF may request additional information or apply enhanced verification procedures depending on the amount, origin, nature and circumstances of the proposed contribution.
General donations support EEESEF's institutional objectives without being designated for a particular programme.
The Foundation may allocate such contributions to eligible scientific, educational, environmental or administrative activities in accordance with its governing documents and internal procedures.
A donor may propose a financial contribution for a particular environmental research, scientific education or institutional cooperation initiative. Such a contribution may be accepted only where the proposed purpose is consistent with EEESEF's objectives, has been reviewed and approved by the Foundation, and is appropriately documented.
The conditions governing a designated donation, including its intended purpose and treatment if the activity cannot proceed, must be agreed in writing before acceptance. EEESEF retains responsibility for ensuring that any accepted designated contribution is administered in accordance with its agreed terms, institutional independence and applicable law.
EEESEF follows a structured, proportionate procedure for reviewing and accepting voluntary financial donations.
A prospective donor contacts EEESEF, providing their name or organisation, contact details and the proposed donation amount and currency. Where applicable, the donor may also identify a proposed scientific, educational or environmental purpose for the contribution.
EEESEF requests the information reasonably necessary to assess the proposed contribution.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include identity or organisational verification, beneficial ownership information, relevant sanctions screening and confirmation of the lawful origin of funds.
The Foundation reviews the proposed donation in accordance with its Gift Acceptance Policy and applicable compliance requirements. Routine, lower-risk donations may be processed through a simplified documented procedure. Larger, designated, unusual or higher-risk donations may require additional verification, a formal Donation Agreement and further internal approval.
Once the proposed donation has been approved, EEESEF provides the donor with its official bank transfer instructions and a unique payment reference. Donors should not transfer funds before receiving these instructions.
EEESEF verifies receipt of the funds and checks that the transfer corresponds to the approved donor, amount and payment reference. Any discrepancies or concerns are reviewed before the contribution is treated as accepted.
Following satisfactory receipt and acceptance of the contribution, EEESEF issues a written acknowledgement or donation receipt.
The donation is recorded in the Foundation's financial records in accordance with its accounting and governance procedures.
EEESEF is committed to maintaining responsible financial practices and preventing the misuse of its activities for money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions violations or other unlawful purposes.
The Foundation applies proportionate donor verification and financial integrity procedures, taking into account the nature, amount, origin and circumstances of each proposed donation.
These procedures may include:
Donor Identification and Verification
Verification of the identity of individual donors or the legal identity and registration details of organisational donors.
Beneficial Ownership and Authorised Representatives
Where appropriate, verification of an organisation's ownership and control structure and the authority of individuals acting on its behalf.
Sanctions and Financial Restrictions
Appropriate screening against relevant sanctions requirements and consideration of restrictions affecting the donor, associated parties or proposed transaction.
Politically Exposed Persons
Additional review where relevant political exposure or related risk factors are identified.
Source of Funds
Reasonable enquiries and, where necessary, supporting documentation concerning the lawful origin of the funds offered.
Transaction Traceability
Use of identifiable banking channels, unique payment references and appropriate financial records.
EEESEF may request additional information, postpone acceptance, reject a proposed donation or take other appropriate action where compliance concerns arise.
The Foundation will comply with applicable legal reporting, sanctions and financial restrictions requirements.
To maintain financial transparency and traceability, EEESEF applies the following payment requirements.
Payments From the Donor's Own Bank Account
Individual donations must originate from a bank account held in the individual donor's legal name.
Organisational donations must originate from a bank account held in the legal name of the donating organisation.
Payments from unrelated third parties, unidentified accounts or accounts that cannot be satisfactorily linked to the approved donor are not accepted under EEESEF's donation policy.
Bank Transfers Only
EEESEF accepts financial donations by approved bank transfer.
Cash payments, cheques, cryptocurrency and anonymous payment methods are not accepted under the Foundation's donation arrangements.
Official Payment Instructions
Bank account details are provided directly to approved donors and are not published openly on this webpage.
Each approved donation is assigned an appropriate reference to support identification and accounting.
Unsolicited or Unidentified Transfers
Unexpected, unidentified or unapproved transfers are subject to review and are not automatically treated as accepted donations.
Any return or other handling of such funds is subject to applicable legal requirements, banking procedures and relevant compliance considerations.
EEESEF maintains independence in its scientific, educational, environmental and ESG-related activities.
Financial donations do not entitle donors to influence the Foundation's scientific conclusions, research findings, ESG assessments, certification decisions or institutional governance.
A donation does not establish membership, commercial representation, accreditation, certification or any entitlement to professional services.
EEESEF does not accept donations in exchange for favourable assessments, commercial advantages, preferential treatment or other improper benefits.
The Foundation may decline a donation where its conditions or circumstances could compromise institutional independence, create an inappropriate conflict of interest or expose EEESEF to unacceptable legal or reputational risks.
EEESEF maintains appropriate records of accepted financial donations, including donor information, approval documentation, transaction references, amounts, currencies and relevant restrictions.
Donations are recorded in the Foundation's accounting records and administered in accordance with its governing documents and applicable requirements.
Where a donation has been accepted for a designated purpose, EEESEF maintains appropriate records to identify the contribution and monitor its application to that purpose.
The Foundation may provide reasonable confirmation of the use of a designated donation where agreed and appropriate, subject to confidentiality, data protection and administrative considerations.
Donor information is handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection requirements and the Foundation's internal procedures.
EEESEF provides a written acknowledgement for financial donations it has formally accepted.
Such acknowledgement records the contribution received and does not constitute a commercial invoice or confirmation of payment for services.
EEESEF is registered in England and Wales as a company limited by guarantee and is not a registered charity with the Charity Commission for England and Wales.
Accordingly, EEESEF does not issue Gift Aid declarations or represent its donation acknowledgements as receipts qualifying for UK charitable tax relief.
Donors should seek independent professional advice regarding any tax treatment or deductibility of their contributions in their respective jurisdictions.
Individuals and organisations wishing to support EEESEF through a voluntary financial contribution are invited to contact the Foundation before making any payment.
Please indicate your full name or organisation, country, proposed donation amount and currency, and whether the contribution is intended as general support or for a particular proposed purpose.
EEESEF will advise on the applicable review and verification requirements and, following approval, provide the official payment instructions.
